ELO supports digital signatures, no matter which signature solution you are using
Nowadays, business documents are almost always sent in digital form, which is why you need to be able to sign them digitally. After all, signing contracts, tenders, and other documents with a digital signature is significantly more secure, but also streamlines processes and reduces costs.
Using digital signatures is easy
Integrating a digital signature solution with your ELO system enables you to sign documents with a digital signature from within the ELO software without the tedious process of having to print, sign, scan, and then send or file them again.
With ELO, integrating a digital signature solution couldn't be easier as you can embed all the leading digital signature solutions, including AdobeSign, Gears, Penneo, Skribble, and many more, with REST protocol. In addition, the built-in ELO for DocuSign solution offers a wide range of other functions to make digital signing easier.
ELO for DocuSign
ELO for DocuSign is a simple and transparent solution: You send the document to be signed to DocuSign from within ELO by clicking "Digital signature". The person you need a signature from then receives an e-mail with a link taking them to the DocuSign portal. There, your contact can sign the document. During this time, it's locked for other users in ELO. ELO now automatically checks whether the signature has been provided and then files the document with the requested signature back where it belongs in the ECM system. The document is filed as a new version, ensuring transparency as to who edited the document and when.
If there are multiple signatories, they can be arranged in any order. It is also possible to sign at any point in the document. Advanced signatures, that is signatures including authentication and identification through the system, are also possible thanks to our cooperation with DocuSign. The same goes for qualified signatures.
Thanks to the flexibility of ELO for DocuSign, you can send any document from the repository to DocuSign for signing.
